Well, whatever! If you have to practice North Korean tactics to keep your bubble a "happy place" then, maybe you ought to think about that Mr. Sood!
I am quickly talking myself out of wanting your business bro.

Make me think otherwise......

It's probably just a screw up. I'm sure you somehow got blocked by accident. When someone posts something on their forums they don't like, they IP ban the poster and delete the post or strings. Unfortunately, this means unless you're there when one of these issues is being addressed, they'll disappear before you can read them. They constantly say they don't ban posters or delete strings, but every string I took part in over there was deleted, even the one in which he posted my real name after I complained about it here at NBF. He said he deleted the stuff out of respect for me, but I disagree... He did it to save embarrassment of having someone else show he's posted personal and private information on his forums about customers or forum members. Not a good trait in a business owner...

Email them and I'm sure they'll make sure you can get in. There are some hardcore Voodoo followers over there, some with several machines, so they can't be all bad...?

Falcon Northwest is the way to go if you don't mind the cost. Their machines are excellent, and their support is second to nobody. They are very expensive, but you get what you pay for. They even have a deal with Smooth to provide custom paint...

I do hope that case is made outta gold

It's gold plated...

I wonder what the hardware costs are compared to their final price...?

Voodoos are really nice, but they price knocks me out. A similar system from Voodoo is almost always close to a 50%-100% more than an Alienware. Falcons are way expensive too.

I can't say anything about the quality as I've never owned either. But they sure are pretty. They appear to be solid systems. The owners I've read about seem to very satisifed with them. Maybe one day I'll spring for an Envy.

Yes. Their Muthaboard is very, very slow.

In my opinion, I'm not sure if it is always a good idea for the owner of a company to be so involved with the customer from a non-technical standpoint. Especially when said owner is as opinionated as Rahul Sood. It's great to see an owner involved with the product and ensuring the customer is treated like gold, but sometimes he gets too personal on his blog and message board. Although I do enjoy reading it. LOL

I'm not saying he is not a smart guy, in fact I think he is a very smart guy with a lot of knowledge of his industry. I have a lot of respect for the man. I just see it as a turn off to some potential customers.

I'd probably get the FNW over the Voodoo if I was ever in the ultra high end PC market...but then again if that's the case, I'd just get an ALX.

All good points guys, I'm learning lots. Sometimes I think some of us should just throw down our name badges and put half of what we have into our own company. Can you imagine what our collective minds could come up with if we started up a shop? We'd rock!! Hammer, Maxrule, Yang, myself and others...

Who else better to craft the perfect work of art, computer of the future, and all around gaming god, then us?!!

Think about it guys..... I'll tell work I'm not coming in Monday if you will....

I currently have an ALX on order, but that hasn't stopped me from looking at other places. Velocity Micro caught my eye. Voodoo is out of the question due to their extreme pricing-components ratio. When I am buying a high end PC I want a case that I can use to upgrade. Alienware, FNW and VM all have cases that are very large, which is what I like.

Cooler Master cases are my favorites style wise , especially this one ..

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/17...?tl=g1c7#blank

Add a nice etched window and that'd be what I would get . Of course it's an older design so it probably would not meet the requirements you have in a new case .

As for other vendors I'd go with Falcon NW if money is not an issue . also I've heard that widow pc makes decent rigs .

http://www.widowpc.com/

Whatever you decide on in the end good luck my friend , when you get it built post some pics and a review

I'd stay away from widowpc. In fact I'd be willing to bet the link to them will disappear soon. Read the review of a widow desktop at [H]ardOCP to see what the company is like. It's basically a one man front that ships cheap systems from a company in the midwest somewhere, and you have no guarantee the system you get is what you ordered...

They've made a name for themselves by bashing other companies, especially Alienware with false claims and outright lies on their website.

I'd get a Dell before I'd get a WidowPC...

I did not know that , thank you Hammer . I'll stay away from them as well .

Hmmm....

Yeah, Widow PC appears determined to trash it's competitors like Voodoo and Alienware. I'd stay away from a company that went out of the way to trash the competition.

I've never heard of an AW employee trashing other companies?
I meant that Widow PC trashes Voodoo and Alienware. Not that Alienware trashes anyone. That came out wrong.

Hey I'm back....... I'm thinking about building from the ground up!! I've looked and looked and I'm still looking!!! I kind of fell in love with this case last night. I really like it in all aspects except the lame writing all over it. I think I'll bring in Smooth on this one if I get it. What do you think??

I have a Fatal1ty mobo in my Alien and it works great. I get very good overclocks with it!! This box, by Zalman, looks good and is really solid. Good cooling too, from what I can see and read.
I'd have to have it painted though. I wouldn't want to have "Fatal1ty" and his random quotes all over the box. Talk about a stupid thing to do to an otherwise great looking case.
