Hi Guys...

I'm thinking of buying a Voodoo Envy A228.
It has the current specs:

-AMD Turion 64 MT-40
-2GB memory
-80GB Seagate 7200RPM HDD
-8X DVDR-RW
-12.1inch WXGA
-802.11B/G
-Microsoft Windows XP Professional with COA!
-Purchased in December 2005

What's the going street value for this laptop?
Laptop is tip top condition. I just want to insure I'm not overpaying for it..
incase I want to sell it a month from now....

what you're getting there is just a fancy painted MSI S217 i think http://www.msicomputer.com/NB/produc...asp?model=S271 or something similiar, i mean its an MSI for sure... so i guess, i'd say somewhere under $1200 is what you're shooting for

I had a hunch......thanks for the input...
The seller is asking for $1450 for it because it's in supposed "Mint"
condition with all accessories.

Well, the Voodoos get a paint job from the stock MSI models. If it's worth the extra $200 to you, sure, it seems like a decent price.

Of course, for $1450, I'd rather throw in an extra $50 and get myself a brand new Asus W7J...
