Hmmm,
I ordered an M1210 on the 28th.
On the 3rd, I contacted customer support online to see when it would move from pre-production status and they assured me it would be in production within 48-72 hours.
So today, its still in pre-production, I saw this thread and decided to give dell a call. First woman I spoke with told me there was a problem with my dell credit(said i wasn't approved even when I tried explaining that I have my Dell Preferred Account Card in my hand), and I had to speak with Dell Financial Services. So I was forwarded to Dell Financial Services, was told there was nothing wrong with my DPAccount, and everything was fine on their end.
So I call Dell back after this, talked to customer support, and after being on hold for a while, I was told that they were completely confident that it would ship on the 13th and that they would upgrade my shipping

to receive it on the 14th. So this doesn't exactly mix with everyones comments, so if they're wrong... /sigh
and yes, it was a Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T7200 (2GHz/667MHz/4MB)
