FE 790 build quality

Hi Guys,
I read that FE 790 has a magnesium chassis - Is this true?

How does the build compare with say.. HP or The Thinkpad?

The FE790 came out earlier this week so I don’t think anyone can give you a hands on report on its quality yet. If it uses the same case and has the same quality of the FE690 I would say it’s going to be a really nice notebook.

I hope so, just ordered one. Had a AW m5550 on order, but some have been reporting problems. So I cancelled it and customized one off the sony website.
