Nice! Im thinking whether I want a m5750 or a m9700 Still deciding. I like the 9700 looks and features a bit more, but I hear the 5750 runs better.

Bada$$...congrats tate, that m9700 is gonna be a sexy silver beast.

Gratz man.
Looks to be a nice machine... I have a blue one on order myself. As to the M5750 ... I would be all over that if it had sli. Hell Id be all over it if someone had the foresight
to at least make a motherboard with even a empty second slot so that I could get a second card once Intel was sli ready. Ive read a few things online...and its def gonna happen. Question is ...sooner rather than later?
If a intel laptop came out that was sli ready in the next 6 months id prolly wait. But ...need a new comp , so my next laptop will def be a intel of some sort with sli. Ive decided to just build my own desktops from here on out like I did with my last computer and laptops will be built by peeps like Alienware. Also hoping like hell that the m9700 will maybe one day in the future accommodate a dual core processor.

Yeah, that's a good memory choice...

I've been reading your posts for a while tate, kind of figured it'd be a while before you bought anything, but I completely understand the lure of the sexy, sexy m9700...

Mine arrives today... I can't wait.

Hammerhead you lucky guy getting yours today. I expect a full review And yes I could not resist the very sexy and seductive ways of the m9700. Man I need to see my woman. I called to verify all the stuff and the lady said it was in Phase 4 already WOOHOO

I didn't realize the other colors were extra until I checked out the site. Saucy Silver is classic though.

i like the blue...

dang if tate gets his before me, I'm going to go bonkers...

I'm kinda tempted to switch to a m9700

Yangggg...."DON'T" start with the indecision...remember how you talked yourself out of the last notebook (lol, why do I get such a kick out of telling you what to do ).

Say the truth, after seeing Hammers screenshots and benches, and also frustrated with playing Phase 4 games for a week with my m5750, I am tempted to switch to m9700 as well... Those 'babies' are just both lovely. The thing is I'm not sure extra $700 for SLI and WUXGA screen would be effectively invested money in my case since I'm not really a ProGamer ...

Now what wins... wallet and sanity or excitement of possessing the powerhouse???

Just get the m9700 with the 1 vid card
If my m5750 doesn't go to production in 3 days I'm gonna definitely do that!
well the funny thing is, LiL yang's AW which I ordered 2-3 days after mine is already in phase 9...while mine is still stuck in phase 3...

i really like the 5750, but w/ the delays plus I just noticed that the card reader, usb, express card slot are all on the right side ...i just bugs me (I can't stand having a bunch wires right by my mouse pad and my hand hits "stuff" when i'm gaming...

argh, this is getting frustrating =(
