Hoojini ... the m9750 is, effectively, the upgrade for the m9700 Turion. You won't see a big diff from the ML44 to the ML42, but many of us ordered the m9700 with the ML44, because we assumed it wouldn't be upgradeable, so went with the top pick at the time.

It's extremely unlikely that there will be a Turion X2 upgrade to the m9700. If you need more than single core (which does fine for gaming), definitely take a look at the m9750.
