You can override resolutions in BF2 by creating a shortcut and inside properties, add +szx 1280 +szy 800 at the end.

Hi Mate. Great review. Just got the same laptop myself. There is a small programme called Everest Ultimate Edition 2006 made by Lavalys. I think that they do a free one as well, but that will give you all the details on the laptop and all of its components, including running temps, serail no's, links to manufacturers sites and also details on the monitor you have.
