Geforce 7700 Go Benchmarked.

Finaly found a benchmark, it was roughly 9750 points in 3dmark 2003, I am estimating a 3dmark 2k5 score of 4300~4700 points based on that.

I would like some help, will people with any of the following cards post their 2k3/2k5/2k6 scores in this thread.

7900GS, 7800, 6800,7600 GT, 7600 And on the Ati Side X1600 mobility. So we can get a better picture of how the 7700 is going to perform?

Also post your CPU, the 7700 go in question was bolted to a 2 ghz Core 2 Duo which is likely to boost it's 2k3 score as 2k3 is rather CPU dependant.

Source please?

X1700 performance to X1600 is identical http://xtreview.com/articles.php?id=139 so I guess the Go 7700 will also be identical...

PS. u cant calculate by those methods because too many variables etc.

It's an Asus A8Js, And The X1700 is actualy clocked 475/400 vs 475/380 for the X1600, the real world performance seems to be 1~3% better nothing to write home about, it looks like a very modest boost for the 7700 Go as well so I went and bought a Hel-80 from Ibuypower that claims to have a 7600 GT go in it.

so it looks like then it's just an OC'd 7600. poo.

Well, to be technical, the 7900GTX is just an overclocked (and die shrunk) 7800GTX; given the right clocks, it can be worth it.

Using the Futuremark Orb and doing a bit of data extrapolation based on Core 2 Duo systems from 1800~2200 3dmarks and 7600 GT desktop cards, using the same user when possible. I come up with 4250 to 4350 for the likely 3dmark range for the A8Js under 3Dmark 2k5 and a score of 2300~2400 in 3Dmark 2k6.

The A8Jm gets Roughly 9000 points in 2k3, around 4000 in 3dmark 2k5 and around 2350 in 2k6.

Keeping in mind that the Asus A8Js that was benchmarked has a 2.0 ghz T7200 Core 2 Duo compared to the 1.83 ghz T2400 in the A8Jm, I would feel it's safe to say that the Geforce 7700 go is a fairly minor improvment. Keep in mind that the X1700 shows about 3% improvment in 3dmark as well, and that those tests used the same cpu in both systems.
