Hey guys If there was ever 1 thing I always wanted it has been a laptop. To do my school work on it, watch movies, listen to music, play games so on so on. Ive decided that since my 20th Bday is coming up in 2 weeks and since Ive cleared about 90% of my gambling debt that I occured bieng an idiot at the age of 18-19 and since im going to a pretty good school and Im going to work my ass of and since Im going to find a stable job that I deserve to reward myself with something that I know will make me happy.

Im looking to charge this on a cc and pay for it monthly with a good plan as well as take care of my insurance and other expenses which I thing Ill be able to pull of.

Anyway I was looking at the Asus lamborhini, but then seen the Alineware

Also any idea if maybe I should go with something else that cost around 2k-3k That will give me really really really really good frame rate in call of duty 2 BF2142, wow and so on so on? Something that extremly quick and runs well you know something that will get the job done not good but extremly well for a lil smaller price?

kero...I'd suggest you look at the m5750...it's a 17" with the latest Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, and the ATI x1800 video card...this system will be a great all around notebook, and still do a great job with gaming. Check out some of the reviews from people here. I've shown a sample config below that comes in at less than $1,900. The m9700 is a great notebook, but given it sounds like you have some budget constraints, I'm guessing you'd be very happy with the m5750. (Note - I selected the 1440x900 display res, rather than the 1920x1200, because it will give you better gaming performance at native resolution...but the higher res screen is also an option).

Area-51® m5750

Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T7200 2.0GHz 4MB Cache 667MHz FSB
Operating System (Office software not included): Genuine Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005 with Service Pack 2 - None
Display: Alienware® m5750 17" WideXGA+ 1440 x 900 LCD - Saucer Silver
Memory: 512MB Single Channel DDR2 SO-DIMM at 667MHz - 1 x 512MB
Hard Drive: Single Drive Configuration - 80GB Serial ATA 1.5Gb/s 5,400 RPM w/ NCQ & 8MB Cache
Primary CD ROM/DVD ROM: 24x10x24 CD-RW / 8X DVD Combo w/Software MPEG2 Decoder
Video/Graphics Card: 256MB ATI Mobility™ Radeon® X1800
Sound Card: Intel® 7.1 High-Definition Audio
Wireless Network Card: Internal Intel® PRO Wireless 3945 a/b/g Mini-Card
Communications: Integrated 10/1000Mb Gigabit Ethernet & 56K V.92 Modem
Warranty: 1-Year AlienCare Toll-Free 24/7 Phone Support w/ Onsite Service
Alienware T-Shirt: Alienware® T-Shirt - Black - Price Includes $5 Instant Rebate - XL
Desktop Enhancements: Exclusive AlienGUIse Theme Manager

Note - you'll probably want to buy additional RAM from someplace like Newegg for $100-2000, depending on whether you want 1GB or 2GB. You can also select the 1.83GHz CPU, for a savings of $150 with little impact on performance.
