I have disabled UAC, and run a registry hack to ensure I have the admin account on start-up so that I can force changes if needed. But that's not the point, the average user won't know how to do this - and while I realise the average user can be stupid ( I have fixed more PC's due to people not running 'good' firewalls, updating the OS, no virus etc etc) so in some ways I guess UAC may not be a bad thing I just wish it would not constantly pop up the way it does.
|I guess you haven't ever run Apple OS X? It does the same thing everytime you install software or access a possible security area in the OS. Looks like Apple won't be getting your money, either!
