I was expecting decent audio record quality for the two mics next to the built in webcam. But they sound horrible (static) and weak (barely any pickup). No obvious updates needed on drivers, so I wanted to see if others had substantially better experiences.

For example, eyeball chat carries the video well, but the sound is unusable. Any experiences similar or different to mine?

Specs: DV6045nr (AMD x2 64) + 2 gb memory + built in webcam/mics.
