The X1400 is faster then the Go 7300. It compares more to the Go 7400. ATI's linux drivers have supposedly improved quite a lot more recently so unless you're just a total Linux guru i would definitely choose the X1400 for gaming.
I'm running 85.96, with the modded inf, I have oc'ed it to benchmark, still doesn't score like a 1400. I ordered a x1400 from dell, should be here soon.
