Two days ago, I was in Fry's Electronics and wandered into the laptop section and I saw a small handheld Sony computer.
It was tethered to the table but there was no label with the price. It was about the dimensions of the TI-92 / Voyager calculator and brought back flashes of the the OQO which I never seemed to see on any retail floor.
Since Fry's is now a day trip for me, I can't run back to the store on a whim just to get the model number (which I neglected to do) but I could not find it on Son'ys Web Site.
To be quite frank, this guy was cute but very quirky. The mouse button is withing easy reach of the thumb but control seemed odd and the mouse click were not precise. You could easily slide the screen panel up to expose the keyboard which had a similar feel to the clamshell palm os machine that Sony had out a few years ago.
If you have seen this device, I would love to know the model number since I can't get back up to Fry's until Saturday.
