aLex_CabRal, about your new harddrive coming... doesn't it have to be SATA? Just wondering because if it doesn't have to be SATA HDD, I think I'm going to order one as well. Thanks.
Sorry man, it HAS to be sata cause of the connectors, its very different the SaTa (aka EIDE) from the ATA-6 connector:

That is the ATA-6 Connector

This is the SATA connector

I will order a 7200 HD eventually...I hope the 120 gig 5600 does me some good for a little while...would the 7200 make a significant improvement for gaming and such? Also what are some surefire brands to go with?
Ok. I was doing research on 100GB 7200rpm SATA HDD for a while, but I can't find it. aLex_CabRal, where did you find yours? is it SATA at all?
That should solve my problem... it that doesn't exist yet, I'm just going to buy a 5400rpm 120GB HDD from newegg.

read my review and scroll down, screenshots and two videos. It plays BF2 great for me on medium settings. smooth as silk.

After a 3 hours search, I found a store that have em in stock:

ZimZoom Fly

An excellent price I must Say.

the 7400 only gets 2000 in 3DMark05 so I am not surprised that it doesn't run BF2 all that well. I have a 6800 and get about 4100 in 3DMark05 and I run BF2 at medium setting as well.

Mind you, that's not your card that's the problem. That issue is really a driver issue. And it seems to be more EA's fault than Dell or nVidia's. [H]ard|OCP had a similar problem in BF2 on a desktop system. I had that problem on my D820, which seems to have gone away make sure you get the latest drivers from laptopvideo2go and the modified INF file for your card. My D820's GPU isn't all that different from the M1210's (just more VRAM is all really) and I can play BF2 just fine.

My Hitachi is very quiet. No gripes about noise here.
