M1210 Problem after update

My outlet bought M1210 is having issues after a microsoft update. It will no longer hibernate or shut down. I have to hit the power button to turn it off. This has never been a problem before. I may try a restore point. I have never messed with it. I am not sure if it will help. Has anyone else updated today with this issue?

Run a diagnostics software...PC Mechanic or Registry Mechanic. See if that can help. If that fails...reformat. If that fails too...then call Dell and talk to them...they might just send someone to help you or ask you to send it to them.

Hmm, I recently did a reformat. This is not good at all. I always do those auto updates. Complete care here I go, if this does not reslove somehow.
