I was all set to buy a SZ260 for a family member who travels a lot and needs a machine capable of doing video editing and powerpoint presenting on the road.
Today I go to order, and I see that the SZ260 has dropped in price and the SZ360 is available for pre-order at roughly the same price as what I had been planning to pay for the 260. They appear to be almost exactly the same machine. The major difference is that the 360 steps up to a 2GHz T7200 Core Duo 2 with 2GB of RAM vs. the 1.83GHz T2400 Core Duo and 1GB of RAM in the 260.
The difference in price is about $300 (260 looks like it's available for $1900 shipped from J&R, and the 360 is available for $2200 after $150 rebate from Amazon).
I have a few questions:

I have a few questions:
- Is the 2GHz T7200 going to be much faster than the 1.83GHz T2400? Both have the same front-side bus speed.
- Is the Core Duo 2 likely to make the battery drain faster or slower?
- Do you think it's worth $300 and possibly a bit of a wait (the 360 is on sale, but not shipping yet) for the faster processor and additional memory?
- Anything else I should be considering?
