Does installing WinXP from Acer Recovery affects drive d:\ ?

When I got my 4404 it had two 60GB Fat partitions: one with system, the other empty.
I now have 3gb C: (with system) and 107gb D: with all the data (both NTFS).

If I use the Recovery CD to install winXP shipped with my laptop, does it do something to partition D: or just C: will be affected?

I need to keep D drive intact.

only c:, I just did that reinstall, my d: drive was uneffected.

Same here... on a Ferrari 4005, only touched C: and only used the partition space I had assigned for it, didn't touch D:
