I installed Dapper Drake on my 9300 today and everything is working well so far.

What I need to know is if anyone has gotten their sub woofer to work. Mines not working and the sound is shitty.

I am running v6.06 and am having the same problems as you with the terrible sound and no subwoofer output. I think it is just a driver issue, but I am not sure how to go about fixing it, or if that is even possible.

Might not apply to you, but when I run linux, alsamixer (from terminal) shows the subwoofer as Master Mono (as opposed to Master Stereo control). Now if only you could bind the two together.

HEY, can you guys run Windows too?? It gives an option for Windows or UNIX/LINUX at bootup, right?

Does the MediaDirect work even after installing the UNIX/LINUX OSes??

Yes, you can dual boot Windows and Linux. After installing Ubuntu, it installs the grub boot loader so you can boot either OS.
