M1210 external resolution issues.

I did a lot of research before I bought this notebook because I needed it to work with my 2405FPW @ 1920x1200. I was reassured by Dell that it would work without a problem.

But i'm sitting here with it connected and the best resolution I can get is 1920x1080. Does anyone here have any experience with this notebook and this monitor that can shed some light on the subject?
