Where to buy a Geforce Go 7900 GS video card?

4 weeks ago I bought an Inspiron 9400 notebook with an ATI x1400 video card, which I would like to replace with a Geforce Go 7900 GS.

I called Dell Austria (I'm from Austria (Europe) NOT Australia!). They told me that a Dell technician would replace the ATI card with the Nvidia card if I managed to get a Geforce Go 7900 GS myself. (Dell Austria has no way to order a single video card, at least that's what I was told. )

Does anybody know where I can buy a Geforce Go 7900 GS video card? (links would be appreciated)

Sorry, but it is a proprietary form factor card, you cannot buy it "off-the-shelf" so to speak. The only card that will fit is available from Dell.... so you will have to keep trying (get different person in spare parts). If they sell it in the complete systems they can send out a 'replaement' part to you! Otherwise if you have a friend/ family in another country you can get them to order it from Dell and ship it to you.

Otherwise, start a Wanted thread in the For Sale section. Those are pretty much your options.

BTW, no need for multiple threads in Dell section, other deleted. And make sure that any want ad/ etc you do here is ONLY in the For Sale section, thanks.
