I have an ACER Aspire 5600 notebook with ALC883 HD audio codec and three audio
I/O jacks.
I red from ALC883 HD codec specifications:
"All analog IO are input and output capable, and headphone amplifiers are also
integrated at each analog output. All analog IOs can be re-tasked according to
user's definitions, or automatically switched depending on the connected device
type."
Unfortunately my Realtek audio control panel doesn't support this function (as
you can see in the attached image). I can only select 2CH mode and I can't
reconfigure the three standard audio I/O (line out - mic - line in) for 5.1
mode (front - central - rear)
I have the latest driver installed (R1.46)
Please help me!
