I just got my laptop back from a Toshiba Repair Depot for a cluster of dead pixels on my brand new G35-AV650. Excited to get it back, i got my sister to pick it up since she works near the place. I get home all excited, and to my surprise i notice a very small reddish spec on the screen. I thought it was just a spec of dirt, so i used a program called 'Dead Pixel Buddy' to check. It turned out to be a dead pixel. So i bring it back to the Toshiba Repair Depot and they tell me that won't be covered under warranty since its only 1 dead pixel and Toshiba's policy is atleast 5. Im very dissapointed that i bought a brand new high-end $3000 laptop, and Toshiba won't cover it. Im very picky about these things, especially with high-end items b/c you wouldn't expect things like these to happen. You expect top quality product and service. What should i do?
