Holy crap nice! Though dont expect to get a gaming laptop but I am sure someone here will come around to it, maybe RockinFella since he's into RC helicopters, I hope you find what you need!

BIZUMP!

Thanks guys, didnt think i'd get some love here haha. Crack, who is this rockinfella you speak of?? lol and juliebriggs, your right it IS a savage 25 engine in the buggy, mad power. the setup really comes with everything you need, some upgrades are rear adjustable suspension, front and back think aluminum shock towers, ive got all the carbon fiber parts, lots of spares, everything you need really (actually more) . If your interested, even if you have a nicer laptop, lmk, i can add if i really like it. What i would really want/need is a nice decently fast laptop, and hopefully it can play CS Source, if not i dont really care. Should be of equal value though. EDIT: The buggy is an OFNA Hyper 7 PCR Pro. Ive put well over $1000 into the setup aswell.

F430 PM responded.

Got my heli in the air today, she needs a little more tweaking with the gyro gain and swash settings but she does hover around.

Its hard for 1/8th buggies to hit high 50's. They are not geared for it. I race a Kyosho 777 spec2 with a OS V Spec engine, gearing is not generally set for 50+ speeds, not on any tracks I race anyway.

Goodluck with the trade...
if you just bash it, then u could gear it to go that fast, but its hard on the engine and drive train

i was at a hobby shop lastnight and they had a computer set up for that Great Planes flight simulator and i gave it a go. took me a solid 30 minutes to keep the helicopter tracking straight. opened my eyes on how hard they are to fly

Not so true, I had a mugen xr works 1/8 scale buggy...I had a collari engine on it, that thing hit well over 50mph, if you got it up to speed, spun it around and stommped it you could get it to do wheelies, and this is a 9lb buggy thats got lowwww center of gravity and 4 wheel drive.

I thought this was a joke at first... but it sounds like a cool hobby. Good luck with the trade!

Thanks for the reply's guys, i really didnt think that this thread would gather to much attention. For the top speed, i am quite sure that my buggy can go over 50mph for the engines top rpm is i believe 43,000, which is generally high for engines. Either way it has plenty of power. Rockin: pm'd you back bud. BTW if Anyone is interested, i can show you a video, just give me your email address and i'll send it. Same with you rockin, just give me your email and i'll send it to ya. Thanks BowevelJoe, these things are pretty neat and people stop and ask a couple of questions whenever they see me driving it. I hope ive answered all the questions. -harp

perhaps someone i send it to can upload it? i aint going to try, my crappy pc will probably crash haha. plus you have to open it in either quicktime or realplayer. give me your email man, just so you can tell these guys how cool it is

i would suggest cleaning it up really nice and making it look good if u ever sell a rc car. people dont like to buy dirty nitro vehicles with the oil and sludge all over them. doesnt look good

julie: i cleaned the car 2 weeks ago. It now looks like brand new, those pics were after a days fun . I assure you when whoever recieves the car, it'll be just like i said, CLEAN for i spent roughly 3 hours taking it apart and cleaning all of it.
I would be nice to see the new clean pics and do you actually race this thing against other people or not?....I know nothing of this stuff.

I guess i can take some pics if you'd like. I personally only took the buggy to the track once, just having a good ol time. I mainly ran it in a very open field tho, or on the road. It is raceable or for just messing around with for either way, you got plenty of spare parts, and you can switch the aluminum parts for carbon fiber ones if you want to race(to make it lighter). If any of you guys got questions, or would like to talk, pm me or add me on msn at harp_430@hotmail.com. Thanks once again.

not a good idea to force the flywheel to push the cylinder past its pinch point when the motor is cold. causes premature wear
