I bought a gateway MX6441 and even though this machine is quite awesome the connection bites. Wireless connection. I am running my home network on a wireless linksys router that is hard wired to my main desktop. I am then using the internal provided wireless card within the laptop to pick up the signal.....

My question is this. Would I see much better range and performance if I bought an add on wireless notebook card....Obviously I should stay with a linksys card for the notebook seeing how the router is linksys.....

Can anyone offer me some help....or info
