Hey all, I just jumped on AW site and noticed the prices are reduced I called spoke to Jay my sales guy and he informed me that he will honor the price. In all I'm getting back64 bucks Not a big deal
but it's cool that they honor such things!

I'm not sure what prices they dropped, all I know is my system was reduced by $64.00's. I just ran my config and it came out to be less $$$.
Just do the same as I did and see what you get.

hey whats up. I just checked out the site and ur right the price was a little cheaper. But i got free shipping there isnt anymore free shipping for the a51m but i will still give me a call and see what money i can get back. Maybe i can upgrade to a 1gb of ram bwahahaha

When I noticed it this afternoon they still had the free shipping.
Wish I caught it sooner, sorry all if you don't get a deal.

well the price is still dropping, but anyway I called yesterday to see if they would drop the price on mine they said no. Mine shippied the same day as the price drop. They asked me if the price went up would I want them to call me and ask for more money. How did you get them to do that for you. I was nice to them, I swear.

They will only refund money prior to shipping. Sound like you were just moments too late.

They will also drop you back to Phase 3 if they refund money, just a matter of whether the extra wait is worth the money

The same thing happened when I ordered in October but I did not get bumped back in my Phases when Free Shipping became available during my wait time. They simply put $70 back on my AMEX.

Yeah I didn't get bumped back I'm at Phase 9. Now for more news I get home this morning from work and I have another email. This one is from Lisa part of the Customer Satisfaction Team heres her email. You don't get this everyday!!

hey i called up alienware and they couldnt reinburse me for the price difference which i am kinda upset about. oh well and he also told me that the only reason they got rid of the 16.1 inch screens is because they ran out of them and they are limited time only. They will be available in a few weeks again. oh yea he said there wont be anything new in them just the screen.

I just emailed support and told them how happy I was with the service.
I also sent feedback to resellerratings.com That was it. I wasn't looking for a free ride, I just wanted to say thanks.....In my line of work that's not very often, since I see people at the worst time for them.
