New to the forums but not computers. Here's some pics of my Dell M1210 and my Dell Dimension 5100.

What screen did you have??? Toshiba or Samsung? In terms of light leakage, it looks way better than my AUO & the 3 other AUOs that I've seen..

It should be a Samsung or a Toshiba-Matsushita since your M1210 does not come with the AV Package.

Anyway, Claye, do you mind checking out the LCD maker of your M1210 using the following:

Click: Start > Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Monitors > Plug and Play Monitor > Details. Look for the name after DISPLAY\.

Nice lappy you got there..hey are those the default color schemes for the M1210 LEDS or did you customize it? Looks pretty nice.

Yes, those are the standard LED colors.

I made that wallpaper in Photoshop from my pictures.
