REQ: Comments on IBUYPOWER/CyberPower Paint Jobs

Hey peoples,

Anyone who purchased a painted laptop from IBUYPOWER or CyberPower please post your thoughts on the quality of the paint job.
I find it strange that they have offered the option for awhile now and I can't seem to find any reviews (besides the really really scary bad one from resellerratings.com... <shiver>)

I read that too, "the yellow paint job looks like been done in a garage..." .. that's not something we want to shell our money at .. is it?

shame; their pics on computer gaming world ads are really good looking ..

Nobody checking in on this forum has bought a painted laptop from IBuyPower or Cyber Power?

I'm not even sure if it's safe to assume BAD or GOOD if there are no responses...

I bought one from Ibuypower and the paint job isnt bad at all .. i mean there are a few spots (around where things were covered up) that arent painted .. but its not that big of a deal because its just a very small portion...other than that i'd say its worth the extra $90...just my .02 cents

Is Ibuypower and CyberPower really the same company?? Their customization screens look awfully similar....and they also resemble that of Xtreme Gear at www.buyxg.com. Reminds me of how ABS and Nutrend are really the same ppl.

well ...the shipping label said ameritech inc. or something like that (im too lazy to go downstairs and look..) but it wasnt even ibuypower. I noticed that after searching for the address and such, it pointed to several different companies .. such as gameve.com ..not sure of what other companies are related

I have bought from ibuypower and there paintjob is excellent, I have no chips, or unpainted spots. Its completely painted; I bought it over a month ago and it looks almost new, I have scratched it on the corner of my desk accidentally and the paint is pretty durable, it didnt come off.

By the way I am referring to the laptop paint job, I do know anything about any of there paintjobs.
