Acer 4062 Bios Password

I was surfing and I was using the battery instead of AC. Well it went all they down and shut off on me. When I plugged it in the BIOS password screen asked for a password and I entered my password and now I get;

Setup Warning
Invalid Password.
[Continue]

My password is all numbers and I have tried with then num lock and off. Called Acer and this isn't covered by my warranty.

Any suggestions....it has been a good computer up till now.

See if you can find an external USB keyboard and use that. As to warranty, the issue you have might as well be due to BIOS handling situation incorrectly, in wich case it would be a computer hardware defect and totally on the Acer. Don't know about this particular case but there was an issue with one of Acer laptop models where BIOS would not accept character 's' in password after coming from standby, if I remember correctly.

Dear Econfox.. maybe you can try this one tricks,

Download this File first MasterID

and follow this step after you download and running that application on DOS Mode :

1.Copy MastID program to C:
2.Click Start -> Program -> Accessories -> Command Prompt
3.Go to C: directory
4.Run mastid.exe
5.Key in “01234567” as following picture
6.Get master password.

After get Master Password, Fill on Bios Password Box.

So far nothings has worked. Thanks for the help. Does anyone know if removing the CMOS battery will clear the password on an ACER 4062?
