Well, going back to the original question. For gaming, they will both offer very similar performance. In regards to price, the M90 will be cheaper.

I would consider stealing if it was taken from someone else without their consent. Sure, this scam is technically taken it without Dell's consent, but you can't say it is at the same level.

Don't think I had anything to do with it. I tried returning it to the seller and he said he can't because his supplier has dissapeared. I also contacted Dell about it and they said there's nothing they can do. They were even unable to provide me with the original buyer's information so I can contact him about it. Oh well, like I said, I don't really care about it until something breaks. I usually get the lowest warranty to save money and it hasn't let me down yet. (Knock on wood!)

Love mine it's that simple

The M1710 SCREAMS professional. Anyone seeing you tote that lappy into a business conference will drop jaws and they will thing "damn this guy is either good, rich, or stupid.... of course focusing on the first 2 until you screw up! ).

Yeah, if you're in a gaming competition. Please don't tell me the flashy colors and LEDs are professional in a business/college environment.

The M90 hands down. It comes from the business side of Dell which has better service (sorry XPS service is all hype. I had it.). Also they are identical, except the M90:

Has the better vid card because it is equal to the 7900GTX for gaming AND is optimized for Autocad and 3D Modelling so resale value is much better.

Comes stock with very little or no bloatware(agains Small Business)

Go with the M90. It is a gaming machine and more.
