Oh, no, on the 2d day I found that my battery is broken, and on the third I found my DELL infected by some wtf W32.Jeefo virus, and that crap killed all the executables on the HDD I decided to reformat the HDD but after I finished the reformat and installed a fresh copy of windows from bundled CD I didn't find any XPS wallpapers, videos etc.... and finaly I found that there was hidden partition with Media Direct software before I reformat - so now it's killed I found only half of drivers and programs on the bundled CDs... and can't find wallpaper..... Please someone with M1210 send me out the wallpaper to the e-mail: NikJEHummer@yandex.ru

And please tell me what I've lost after reformat of HDD? Is it important? (I have Drivers and Utilities CD, WinXP CD, Sonic CinePlayer, Roxio Creator CD) Can I recover some of lost programs like fax, some network adaptor info tool..?

all the drivers you need are on the drivers and utilities cd. just go through the list... extract each file in order and install everything. I just did it to mine after i got it. fresh install of Win xp the all the drivers from the cd and everythig is swimming along famously. also.. do a google image search for "xps background". There are some really good ones the other people have made that are better than the original.

no need to cry... it's pretty easy to replace all the stuff that got wiped by the HDD format. I'll probably do that anyway when my m1210 shows up tmrw.

Before you reformat I suggest u to take a look at this link:

if u reformat the whole drive, including partitions u will have to install, if not u can fix it easely

Well, if it's 1.3Gb ghost image, then I think I still have it on my HDD, cause the full size of HDD shows me as 78.5 under XP, and it must be something about 80.1 (full size in bytes) so I'm missing 1.3Gb space and maybe it's Media Direct But.. before reformat I'd downloaded SeaGate DiskWizard and done 2% of Zero Fill Drive (and stopped it as it showed up 5 hours of formatting) and after that I've done Zero Fill Drive Quick. So I'm not sure if that partition is still on the drive

And please, send me that official wallpaper which comes with M1210, I liked it.
