FS microsoft windows xp sp2 and office xp pro

Have a new copy of windows sp2 with new activation code never used. Seeing if anyone is interested, Also have Office pro new and unused. will list other software I have. make reasonable offers.

ok guys since everyone is asking me for prices

windows sp2 pro for 100 bucks
office xp pro for 150 bucks
I also have windows sp2 pro 64 bit if anyone is interested.

Software is pretty hard to sell on the forums i would reccomend posting pictures of the discs (no codes) also if you have any sort of feedback that would help also

You sure on that? Newegg was running a deal where if you bought OEM windows you got a free molex power splitter cable, which they said was a qualifying piece of hardware for OEM purchases. I'm pretty sure you can send along anything even remotely computer-oriented, but I'm also pretty sure that OEM selling rules only apply to retail/wholesale sales, not "yard sale" type stuff like this is... I could be wrong on that last part though.

And you're supposed to post a price, or at least say you're feeling around to find a good asking price. Just asking for offers is against rules.

I was sent a defective touchpad for "parts" with a OEM order one time... I researched the law governing since I had my own shop, and you just have to send a hardware component of some type. "with hardware purchase"

weird, friend who is m$ certified reseller said it has to be a working piece of computer hardware that can hold information /shrug/ maybe im wrong or his account with M$ has diffrent rules

The molex power splitter is the standard thing sent to meet the requirement...newegg does that as do many others. Also could you please post the prices you want and is it xp pro or home. Thanks

Was it oem? If not the rule does not apply. Also all the resellers that I know that sell oem microsoft products send out the bare mem hardware that is required to sell the oem.

It says OEM right on the booklet that came with it, and also also a red header on booklet that warns it can only be sold with a new PC. I just ordered XP home from them also, curious to see if it includes hardware.

It"s XP Pro sp2b, it was $148, I just ordered XP Home sp2b oem for $98 shipped 2nd day.

Please post a price that you are looking to sell for. This site dose not do offers and this is not an auction site. Also have pics will help you sell very fast. People just need to know that everything is in good shape and not somethig that is easy for your or someone else to get the cd key from.

I say this as I have sold software on this site before. Just a heads up

Bump for ya, received xp home OEM system builder pack fron newegg today. It came in a sealed bubble wrap packaged by microsoft. It states if the package is not opened it is not considered an"individual software license", it can be distributed by itself, without any accompanying software.
If opened. It also states that the individual software license inside this packaged may ONLY be distributed with a fully assembled computer system. It also states it must be preinstalled on the hard drive.
