Hi Atomic_Flip, Hola, hi all!
I laugh @ myself, for now I think DELL is the worst ever _EVER_ company I've dealt with....
The thing is, talking about the screen leakage problem, I have it too
, & have a TOSHIBA WUXGA, NO dead pixels (yes I tried every Monitor LCD test program), for me it was stunning, but had lots of defects in the lcd, even a sunken hole in the center, like if someone had punched the screen, some bands were brighter than others, etc...
So based on my previous experience with DELL, I had to think about what I should do, so I just trusted them one _more_ time (when will I learn!!!, hahahaha), & sent them the unit, that was last week, & hoped I'll get the unit back THIS week, with a perfect NEW screen, etc etc etc...
The problem (well one of the problems actually) is that I sent the unit back so they correct the thing, it should have been the latest TODAY, but, it isn't even "repaired", as it's been stuck from monday in the "Your service call has been delayed" (& that, when their eurowebsite would work, heheheheh
Sooooo, when I get this "experience" done, I shall publish the whooooole story online, in spanish & english, so everyone can laugh
U may think I'm crazy, well... maybe, I just take it as a challenge now, coz I do a living working in the IT world, & needed that lappy BAD for my daily work, anyway, I still laugh coz we haven't paid a DIME, & they won't get the 2 lappys paid till everything is PERFECT (even f it takes me 2 years!!!!)
Ok!, maybe it's my personal luck, if so, I hope maybe someone could tell me to whon to talk, or what magic words I have 2 say, coz 2 all the ppl I've talked, only 1 ONE did care, the rest... well in the best cases, they din't care, & in the worst, it seemed easier to teach a rock how to talk
I've been reading this board (very cool board!), for almost 2 months, & I'm very gratefull 2 voice my opinion.
PS: If someone can help me, i'dd be very happy.
