Voltages of batttery pins...

My battery up and stopped working. It was fine, next thing I know, it wont charge at all. I was wondering, could someone check the voltages for the 5 connector pins on the motherboard that go to the battery for me? I did it and the picture shows my results. Could someone confirm/object this for me. I want to figure out if it is indeed the battery before I go spending $125 on a new one...

I realized that I didnt check the voltages while the laptop was on. I just redid it, and the first two appear to have gone up to about 55mV, while the others are relatively unchanged...

It wouldn't be too much trouble for someone to tell you their pin voltages, although I don't think it would provide any helpful information... Having voltage and being able to hold a good charge aren't completely the same thing.

However, you didn't mention what model of computer you have. If you tell us that someone with your model may be able to help.

Haha wow I cant believe I forgot the Model number. 4750.

And knowing if my voltages are off would let me know if it is my laptop or my battery. If my voltages are wrong, thats probably why it isnt charging.

Alright, here are the voltages from mine:

Battery plugged in_____________0__0___0.11__3.23__3.22___15.13__15.13
Battery unplugged-Laptop pins:_ 0__0___2.76__3.23__3.22___0.1____0.1
Battery unplugged-Battery pins:_0__0___0______0____0_____15.13__15.13

Disclaimer: My battery only holds 60% charge. These voltages were taken with a fully charged battery (Windows reports 100%, if I were to unplug from wall, would instantly drop to ~60%).

And, now that I look at your picture, I see you had a much higher sensitivity then me on the red wires. Mine probably were the same voltage as you, but I had my multimeter set at the 20v and didn't think to change it
