Now, I own two AR5005 cards in both my laptops (see below), and definitely
love the extra signal strength and range. What I find odd about the two results above is that with the 4 AP's the Intel card saw, the AR5006 saw them at a lesser signal strength! That is opposite of what I have seen with my AR5005, which shows
stronger signal strength for AP's than what the Intel 3945 got. Now, it's nice that the AR5006 can find twice the number of AP's, but it really isn't much use when the stronger ones are at a lesser signal strength, and most of the others are too weak to use! But, my AR5005 works great, and I get 5 bars in my home in places where I used to get 2 bars with the 3945.
