I'm also wondering about this. The two Kingston modules I had just made the laptop crash all the time. Now I'm using them in my tablet and it works fine but I need one piece of 1GB DDR2 more in the other laptop. So is really Nanya and Infineon the only choise out there? Djembe -> We are sorry... The page cannot be found. ((

Unfortunately yes, Nanya and Infineon is the only compatible RAM for Z92T. As for Kingston, you never know what RAM modules you gonna get so Asus can't approve their RAM, also there is no such thing as Corsair, OCZ and Gskill RAM module because they are not the actual manufacturer.

What about MDT and Crucial? On another forum someone is saying that MDT works fine. And on a store here in Sweden the crucial configurator says Crucial ram works with the Z92T (A6T).

edit:

Here's a link: http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=A6T .

So I have have tried the crucial memory for about a week without any lockups. Seems like it works. I have no idea what chips are on it but to me it doesn't matter anymore. What matters is that I can run 2GB without any lockups.

Hello, THANKS A LOT FOR THIS SOLUTION. I had this Z91T purchased last year and had the same problem. I had reported to the vendor Cyberpower PC and they told me to format the hard disk and reinstall the system using the recovery CD. That did not work, They told me to try to issolate the memory (1GBx 2 modules). This also did not work. Tried other suggestions only to get more upset. When I read this memory module solution, I got new Nanya memory sticks and since then I have no more crashes . In short THIS WORKS !!!!! Pls. do not waste time just get the certified memory for your Z92T. Skop
