Need Help Deciding with m5550

I am choosing between 3 different setups, and the top things I cannot decide between.


Either I am looking at getting the

core2duo 1.66 with Geforce go 7600

core2duo 2.00 with ATI x1400

or core2duo 1.83 with Geforce go 6600

I want something that will be pretty decent for gaming but I do not want to spend over my original planned price of about $1300

Any other suggestions?

MY vote is for the better graphics card, especially if you are gaming. That will have a bigger impact on gameplay. Also, it's much easier to replace the processor with a faster unit, the laptop video cards can be a different story.

I agree with 95blklsc. I had the same decision buggin me when I decided on the M5550 also. I chose the 1.83GHz with the 7600. which at the time was the only other option besides the ati. You can upgrade pretty much everything in a laptop fairly easily except for the video. The video is basically whatever you get, you got till you get a new one. GOOD LUCK!!!
