Hi.
I just installed I8kfangui for my Dell Inspiron 6400/e1505. I was a little bit concerned by the fact that on idle, my GPU temperatures were at 60 degrees C. It was also strange that my CPU temperature was the lowest out of all the temperatures (35 degrees C). I wanted to test the accuracy of these temperature reading. So last night, I opened up the main I8kfangui then put my computer into standby, and I went to bed. This morning, I woke my computer up from standby and it took only a few seconds. On the main screen of I8kfangui, here were the initial temperature readings (in degrees C):
CPU: 9
GPU: 25
Memory: 22
Chipset: 22
Hard drive: 49
Theoretically, shouldnt all of these components be at near room temperature (20 degrees) since right after wake from standby, they have not even had any time to warm up? Are my temperature readings inaccurate?
