PCLinuxOS and WUXGA

Hey guys,
I just installed VMPlayer so I can run Linux inside of Windows. It works great (and its FREE - www.vmware.com). It looks amazing, but I can't get the resolution to 1920x1200. Does anyone know what kind of hack I need in order for it to run at my laptop's native res? I know how to change resolutions in the config center, but WUXGA isn't listed.

Well depending on the distro affects the best way to do things.

The thing is, you can ALWAYS do it by hand, it isnt really a hack, it was how Linux was set up, but many distros try to hide this from you. /etc/X11/xorg.conf is the file you would be editing with any text editor, you would want to make sure you are using the appropriate video driver(Not sure which one VMPlayer needs as I dont believe it allows direct hardware access) and that video driver would need to support that resolution(I suspect since i believe VMPlayer uses its own driver, this may be the limiting factor) but then it is a matter of making sure the driver is correct, and specifying the resolution you want.

However knowing what driver the VMPlayer is using would probably help.
