i play alot of games and maybe watch abit of movies,which laptop is best for gaming .i thought i had it narrowed down but now im not sure.widescreen or normal ,does it screw with games that ratio.is it just too big the 17 inch or will i regret not getting it.i was thinking the 4780 but then i seen the 8790 .i want p4 3.0 1 gig ram 60 gig hardrive but in what sager ??

What's the problem with 17", both of the models you are looking at have 17" screens.
As to what SAGER to get, all of the better models have the goods you want. The 8790 probably has the best combination of features, its nearly equal to the 8890 in raw power but has the large screen and top end video system as well. It doesn't compare to the 5680, which is lighter, smaller and has the dual battery option.
If I was to buy a machine right now, it would be the 8790. Its got the mostest of anything out there and will probably be the best all around pci based notebook.
