Hey guys Im finally upgrading my intel 2100 to an intel 2915.
As this was never offered on my model sentia, and my warranty ran out 6 months ago, I was hoping someone could provide me w/ the direct link/host/send me the latest AW certified driver for this Card!

Thanks

Holy Clutch!!!!

Perfect my main man!

I dont know the recent intel/mac card vulnerabilities had me switch from a stable 2 year old dell driver to a generic intel one in my sentia. The new one might have been more secure, but not as stable....... Of course my sentia is soooo old AW would never touch it. That being said, I wonder what AW dated this driver as, and if it has those recent vulnerabilities fixed?

Either way I dont care, it installed and is running perfect!!! goodbye 11Mbps hello 54Mbps and some increased signal range!!!!

Only odd/downside is, as this bios was never updated past the intel 2100<b only>(maybe 2200<b/g>) the bios does not recognize the 2915<a/b/g> as a centrino product, as such the bios boot screen shows Pentium M logo instead of centrino one next to AW logo. Not that big of a deal, but after 2-1/2 years of seeing the same exact thing, the moment it changed I thought the apocalypse had hit my laptop...haha

Update seemed like worthy of its own post.

Did some checking..........

The "latest" AW driver, that was so kindly linked for me is:
Driver Build: 9.0.0.60 dated 8/7/2004

The "latest" Intel driver, found here
Driver Build: 9.0.4.17 dated 6/26/2006

Well I had to do it and upgrade, a 2 year old driver is well a 2 year old driver!!!!

Lets you see just how indicative this is of AW's true commitment to customer support and their "OFFICIAL" Drivers!!! lol haha
