e1505 video upgrade?

I've seen a few Geforce Go 6800 ultras on ebay and was curious if anyone with a e1505 has attempted to install one of these? I have a x1400 ati card right now. Do you think it is possible to replace it? What about a 7900 card? Thanks!

Will not fit the current E1505 motherboard, also Dell would have to provide a BIOS update to recognise the 6800 as well as the 7900..You will have to move up to a E1705 if you want those High end cards......

yes, you can upgrade the graphic card but with some modification. check the link below:

I'm sorry, but isn't the M70 different then the e1505? I don't think it'll work. Your best bet of upgrading to better video card in the e1505 is to wait for Dell to start installing the x1450 in this model. Definitely need a BIOS update though.

Yeah I looked at that article and it looks like those cards are a completely different format then the x1400. Maybe need to stick with ATI cards? I never heard of a x1450, would that really offer that much of a performance increase? Sound slike it wouldn't be worth the hassle.
