Well after selling my HP laptop to a friend a couple of days ago, I decided that I would check out the outlet store to see if I could find me a new Dell to join the other members of my Dell family. After searching for a few days I finally found the one I wanted about 15 minutes ago. Any thoughts on the one I picked out?
Inspiron 6400/E1505 Notebook: Intel Core Duo processor T2300 (2MB Cache/1.66GHz/667MHz FSB)
512 MB DDR2 SDRAM 533MHz (1 DIMM)
Genuine Windows XP Media Center 2005
15.4 inch UltraSharp Wide Screen SXGA+ Display with TrueLife
6 Cell Primary Battery
80 GB EIDE Hard Drive (5400 RPM)
8X DVD +/- RW w/dbl layer write capability
256MB nVidia Geforce 7300LE TurboCache
Of course the first thing I'm going to do is format the laptop when I get it, probably will install a copy of XP Pro on it and boost the RAM to about a gig. I also picked up a 2 year warranty on it so my total price came to $909.
