As you can probably see, I am a new member to these boards, I hope you can help me with a problem that I am having!
I have a relatively new Alienware Area 51 5550 laptop (almost one year old), and am currently running dual-boot OS (xp and vista RC1). Right now, I am having trouble with getting Aero to start up. My graphics card is listed as being supported (the Nvidia Geforce go 6600, with 128 mb of video memory). The computer I'm on has 1.73 Ghz CPU speed, and 1.13 GB of RAM. Whenever I go to the Window Color and Appearence menu under personalize, I can't seem to find Aero. Is my laptop not good enough to run it? Or is it just a problem with the OS? Thanks for your help!
