Dell Inspiron 5100 -need help installing cd/dvd drive??

Hey there i would like some help from anyone who has experience or knows how to replace the cd drive with the new DVD±RW DL BURNER that i purchased.

I tried flipping the laptop over and unscrewing some of the screws to see of i could get at it but to no avail? do i have to take all the screws out from the bottom and completely remove the casing? or is there some trick to jsut pop it out? is there a walkthru or a site with diagrams where i can see how to do it? or can anyone understand what im taking about and explain it to me?

thanks for reading and hopefully someone can solve my problem
have a good day

I used to have a 5100 and I needed to replace the cd drive because it stopped working It is very easy to do, you just pull the old drive out of the bay and slide the new one in. You don't need to remove any screws. It should automatically install the drivers. Enjoy!

You'll have to remove the Memory cover to get at the tab that pushes out your existing optical drive. There is also ONE screw on the bottom (should be labeled O) that you remove.

That's odd I never removed any screws to replace the drive but if it doesn't come out easily then there probably is a screw somewhere. Maybe Dell messed up and didn't put that screw in on mine.
