Just got new dv2000t. Still in box. Dual cor 2 t5600, 1 gb dram, 100 gb HD, other bells. Have heard that these have bloatware up wazoo and that the partition drive is hard to replicate.

Ok, esteemed friends, what are the smartest next 10 moves for me as I hook up and fire?

Thanks in advance

Buy the insurance so when you wax it and it slips out of your hands.

I thought everyone was kidding about car waxing the top. But this cover is a major fingerprint magnet. So, I waxed it. What a difference.

Results so far: Hot wifi, great keyboard, no part-dead touchpad, great porting/connectors, etc., great optic drive, very fast, overrated Quick Play, wierd volume control, really bad 6-cell battery, retarded 12-cell. When using the 6-cell, and wifi is on, it's like watching gas guage needle going south before your eyes

Otherwise, very happy. What a beauty.

i have a problem with the touch pad. it keeps on moving without my own control. very annoying especially during presentation. solution - use mouse and disable the touch pad during presentation. thank god the disable button is there beside the touch pad
