Sony FE670 webcam

Hi guys, first post here. I just bought the Sony FE670 a few weeks ago and so far it is great. I can't believe the screen it has on it! Its beyond beautiful. It was between this guy and the dell 1505...I chose the sony because of the awesome screen and because its a bit slimmer than the dell. My only complaint with the sony is the mouse clickers are a bit loud...but I got a wireless mouse to use when I'm working on big projects (I don't like using touchpads to begin with). But anyway, I tried playing with the webcam today and it seems a bit funny. When I move my arm or hand you can still see where my arm/hand was in its original position. Basically it looks like its in slow motion when I am moving, esp. when I move rapidly. Seems like there isn't enough frames per second?

Anyone have any ideas on why this is? Do you think I need to update the driver? Or is it just a simple option I need to check off/on??

Any help would be great, thanks.

It lags behind because the shutter speed is slow. The shutter speed must be slow to collect enough light on the sensor. The easist way to speed it up is to add more light to your environment. You can also go into the settings in the "Vaio Camera utility" and manually set the shutter faster, but this will make the picture darker. To lighten it up adjust the color settings (this is a pain to get it look good).
