Quadro NVS 120M driver problems

When I goto the drivers page on the official NVIDIA website, I get the latest driver with the correct operating system. Download it, but when I install it, it gives me the message, "The NVIDIA setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit."

I'm trying to update this so I can play counterstrike source. Anyone that has had this problem and fixed it, please reply.

Dell Latitude D820
2.0GHz Core Duo
2GM RAM
100GB 7200RPM
NVIDIA Quadro NVS 120M

Thank you

You need the id INF file to tell the updated drivers that your notebook is compatible. You can locate such file at www.laptopvideo2go.com place the file in your setup folder then run setup again and it should work fine. For optimal stability and compatibility.

I need a little direction with where to install it and what exactly to get.

My forceware is 83.13, thank you for the help provided so far but I think Im gonna need some more.

Thanks

Well when you download the EXE file and attempt to install it the setup will extract all the files to a dir of your choosing which is C:\Nvidia\Win2KXP\"driver version number" and in this DIR you will drop that INF file I directed you to download. Since you already ran the setup the dir should be there. Once you have dragged in the file you can hunt for Setup.exe in that very same directory and everything should be gravy.
