SystemGuard Accidental Damage Policy (fine print?)

OK, I'm reading through the fineprint on the SystemGuard warranty and it states:

Quote:
"Your Product is protected against accidental damage from handling ("ADH"). ADH coverage will end prior to the expiration date shown on the COC we We have, as a result of service provided to You, replaced Your Product or incurred costs under this plan equal to the orignal purchase or mechanical failure from handling and does not include protection against normal war and tear, theft, mysterious disappearance, misplacement, viruses, reckless, abusive, willfull or intentional conduct associated with handling"

It's kinda vaguely written and I'd really like to know what it does and does not cover

I mean, if laptop fell down a flight of stairs, how would they know whether it was an accident due to handling or an intentional toss

My Laptop was recently damaged by accident (I swear), but I'd really like to get an idea of what's covered and what isn't before I contact them

If it's an accident they will either fix it or replace it. Take it to a Premier Service Center and let them look at it. They will tell you if it can be fixed. If not repairable, Toshiba will send a replacement refurbed unit.
