Very nice looking laptop. Hope you have lots of fun with it. If anyone is looking for customized laptop skins, check out PolygFX at www.caseskin.com. You can order one of their designs or submit your own....very cool.

I haven't tried the headphones or the soundcard on the laptop. The headphones are incredible on my destop, and the soundcard on my desktop is only 16 bit. I got the headphones at compusa, best buy up here didn't have sennheiser. Check out the Headones Thread in the general discussion. gsferrari and the other people there know alot about the headphones, amps, etc. He recommended the HD-497's and I couldn't be happier.

I was thinking of looking for one with a Jayhawk on it, just in time for march madness, thanks for the site

You could submit a design to them....just make sure you read their specifications. It needs to be a high resolution image; otherwise it will look bad when they blow it up onto the vinyl sheet. It supposedly is designed so that there's less of a chance of an air pocket after you apply it. Look at their videos....I can't wait to get one for my old Toshiba.

Sounds like your the one whining. Most notebook companies are getting away from 3 spindles. They have one drive that can do it all so what's the need?

Hey Microsoft, do you work for Microsoft?

I use Microsoft windows 2000 at work

but at home I use XP

I like wine and cheese can I come over and have some with you?

According to his prior posts, he works for Dell. If I thought there even a slight resemblence of truth in that, I would not have bought a Dell

Personally, I don't believe Dell (or Microsoft) hires 12-14 year olds. Furthermor, offering him a fine Merlot could most certain be construed as contributing to the delinquincy of a minor.

Grape Juice

Give him his grape juice and a sippy cup, it's time for the adults to get back to the discussion at hand:

THE MIGHTY INSPIRON XPS

How about a system with FOUR spindles like the 8890 .
Whilst I have to congratulate LurkingJayhawk on his new acquistion, I must admit I do not like the looks of the beast (have to be honest). However some don't like the looks of the 8890 so we are even .
