Anyone install bluetooth in a HP laptop?

I recently ordered a new nw9440 Intel Core Duo 2 laptop, but it doesn't come with built-in bluetooth. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to add this to the laptop.

The only other option that included the bluetooth was $1500.00 (USD) more than the one I ordered... not worth it just to go from 2GHz to 2.16GHz and bluetooth and a 1920x1200 screen.

Depending on what you want to do, you can add bluetooth. There are a variety of bluetooth USB adapters. Belkin makes several. I've used a Belkin BT/USB adapter on my Compaq v2000 and synced my treo via bluetooth with no problem. Have not tried printing or setting up a BT network.

I just got a BT headset to try and use on it with Skype. Will check it tonight to see how that works.

Hey... thanks for the reply...
I have a USB bluetooth adapter... but was wondering if I could just buy the bluetooth card and insert it 'into' my laptop.
Some of the HP laptops I've seen have a empty slot underneat for adding something... and I wasn't sure if the bluetooth option was just a different wireless card.

if ur model offers an optional BT module then yes, u can add one in at a later time, providing that u find one that is compatible with it (sure lots of people would say BT is BT)

cheers ...
